Abstract Reviewers Needed

NCUR receives and accepts thousands of student abstracts in all academic disciplines every year, and we anticipate this year, in Grand Rapids, to be no different. As a result, we are in need of abstract reviewers. If you are an administrator, faculty mentor, postdoc, or graduate student, you are eligible to review student abstracts for NCUR 2027. Please note: Undergraduate students are not eligible to serve as abstract reviewer volunteers for NCUR 2027.

Deadline to Volunteer: November 13, 2026

The expected workload and dates of availability for abstract reviewers are as follows: Availability to access the NCUR submission site to review abstracts in a fair and balanced way and provide a score and comment for each assigned abstract. Total Time: ~3-4 hours

Abstract submission round review dates: Opens December 15, 2026, and ends January 6, 2027.

NCUR Ambassador Program

The NCUR Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for returning NCUR presenters who want to help create a welcoming, engaging, and connected conference experience for fellow students. Ambassadors draw on their previous NCUR experience to support first-time attendees, encourage connections across institutions and disciplines, and help participants make the most of the conference.

Interested in becoming an NCUR Ambassador? The first step is to indicate that you are a returning NCUR presenter when submitting your abstract. Returning presenters will then receive additional information about the Ambassador Program and how to apply.

Selected ambassadors may support NCUR through pre-conference resources, student-led programming, or on-site assistance. Ambassadors will participate in required training and orientation and will receive a certificate recognizing their leadership and contributions to the NCUR community.
