The Norman J. Radow College of Humanities & Social Sciences (Radow College) graduated, nearly 25% of all students who earned their degrees from KSU, the largest number conferred by any of our eleven colleges. We serve a diverse body of students in over 80 programs of study, as well as supporting General Education for the entire University. Radow College offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs, as well as additional certificates and minors. We are home to specialized institutes and centers, including the Radow Institute for Social Equity (RISE), Center for Sustainable Journalism, Civil War Center, and Undergraduate Advising Center.
With 500 full-time faculty and staff, we work hard to achieve our mission: To prepare students with a Liberal Arts education that empowers them to understand the human condition, to meet the challenges of the 21st century, and to become contributing citizens in a global society. Our faculty are consistently recognized at the College, University, and beyond for excellence in teaching, research, and professional service. Our faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to “meet the challenge” by engaging in traditional and interdisciplinary work across the College and in our community. Students in any of our competitive programs can experience opportunities to work with award-winning faculty, engage in professional internships, and make lasting connections with community partners and alumni.
Kennesaw State is a Carnegie-designated R2 doctoral institution and is one of the 50 largest public institutions in the country. Despite the large size of our College and our University, with nearly 43,000 students, the units in our College strive to maintain a personal relationship with our students and our valued alumni.
