Despite his remarkable achievements—solving problems once deemed unsolvable, especially in series and infinite sums, creating the Gregorian telescope, which was revolutionary at the time, and laying the groundwork for future developments in optics and astronomy—Gregory did not receive the recognition he deserved. His work was often overlooked, limited by slower communication, a short life, and the overshadowing of figures like Newton and Leibniz.
