Wingstop, the nationally acclaimed wing-focused restaurant chain, has had a long, rich history of success. However, before becoming famous, it remained a simple dream and ambition of its founders, Bernadette Fiaschetti and Antonio Swad. This research essay reflects Wingstop's chronological history, from its first opening in Garland, Texas in 1994, to its franchising in 1997, and to its recognition as the ‘official wings of the Dallas Cowboys’ in 2009, to its nationwide impact today. For my research, I utilized several magazine and newspaper articles to get the beginnings of the concept itself, such as the Fort-Worth Star-Telegram.
