The Center for Writing Excellence is excited to see you on campus. Welcome! If you would like an open space to practice your presentation and receive feedback from our team, please stop by the Student Success Center in Centennial Hall 2104 during the conference. Our team is comprised of undergraduate Writing Assistant Interns at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. There is no additional cost or registration for this service.
What to expect when you visit:
- No appointment required
- Supportive feedback and advice from our Writing Assistant Interns
- Tables with outlets and internet access to finalize materials
- Quiet space to practice
- Mock run-throughs with a practice audience of 2-3 interns
- Opportunities to ask for advice from our interns
- Space to write and practice elevator pitches
