The Open House Session is your time to explore and visit the offices and spaces across the UW-Eau Claire campus as a fun opportunity to learn more about our campus offerings! We have a wide variety of different locations to check out:

Come visit the Admissions Staff at UWEC, we will show you why we love welcoming ALL students to UWEC whether for a short or longer visit.

Black Cultural Center | Centennial 1931

Opened in the fall of 2018, UW-Eau Claire's Black Cultural Center (BCC) serves as a foundation for Black cultural identity, including, but not limited to, Black American, Caribbean-American, Afro-Latinx, and African identities. In addition to its function as a programming space, the Black Cultural Center serves as an informal drop-in and educational space for use by the UW-Eau Claire community. Come stop by the BCC to learn more about Black students' experiences at UW-Eau Claire, both in the past and present!

Visit the Critical Hmong Resource Center to learn about academic programming, student resources, and research related to Critical Hmong Studies on campus!

Join us at the College of Nursing! Our MSN and DNP programs have new and more flexible hybrid schedules. We offer graduate programs in Nursing Education, Administration/Leadership, and Advanced Practice. Learn about our exciting opportunities for tuition support for nurses desiring a career in nursing education in our MSN program.

Inter-Tribal Learning Center (ITLC) | Hibbard Humanities Hall, Room 150
Drop in to meet the students of the Inter-Tribal Student Council and Director of the American Indian Studies Program. The ITLC is a place for Indigenous students and American Indian Studies students to socialize, use student resources, engage with programming, and create community with each other as well as with faculty and staff. The ITLC seeks to be a place where students can have a home away from home.

Learn about us in the Ronald E. McNair program, a graduate school preparatory program that aims to level the playing field in graduate education and diversify the American research community by class, socio-economic status, and ethnicity.

Visit us at the Spectator, UWEC’s own student-run newspaper, that started in 1923 and has grown to a biweekly publication.

The Arts and Humanities Division of the Council on Undergraduate Reseach | W.R. Davies Center - Chancellors, Room 311
This is a great meet-and-greet opportunity for students AND faculty in the arts and humanities to come together and talk about the research they are doing and hear about how you can be a part of our community! We welcome students in all humanities and arts disciplines to stop by and meet with Councilors and faculty in the A&H Division of CUR to hear about our mission, opportunities to apply for UR awards, and additional support for your research! The Latinx Cultural Center | Hibbard Humanities Hall (HHH), Room 801
The Latinx Cultural Center aims to provide a welcoming and safe space to support Latinx student and allies. Created in Spring 2019, it was transformed into a place for individuals of all identities to experience a sense of belonging and representation. Everyone is welcomed!

University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium | Schneider Social Sciences Building, Room 110
Come visit faculty and staff from one of the nation's top online MBA programs. The program, which is managed by UW-Eau Claire, has more than 400 students from all around the country. We partner with UW-La Crosse and UW Oshkosh to deliver a high-quality MBA that has been serving students for more than 25 years.

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Honors Program | McIntyre Library, Room 2002
Stop by the Honors lounge to learn about our students’ experiences in innovative honors courses, unique leadership positions, and research opportunities and how they contribute to our vibrant community at UWEC. We're excited to meet honors students from other universities and discuss ways we might collaborate.

Come check out UWEC’s Foundation office to see how we help alumni, friends and donors provide financial support for academic, cultural, and professional programs at UWEC that cannot be maintained through state funds and tuition alone. 

Wisconsin Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (WiscLSAMP) | Centennial Hall, Room 1804
WiscLSAMP is the Wisconsin Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation which includes 18 colleges and universities in Wisconsin. Our activities are centered on undergraduate and graduate degree completion in STEM disciplines and the development of a STEM workforce. We offer financial support for underrepresented ethnic groups in STEM to conduct research, attend conferences, and develop entrepreneurial skills. We also have a 6-week paid summer enrichment program. Come check us out!
